It is a very hard decision to make. She has to close her eyes and take that step she feels is right. Abortion!

Abortion is the expulsion from the womb of a fetus or embryo before it is fully developed, with loss of the fetus; it can be either naturally as a spontaneous abortion (now usually called a miscarriage), or deliberately as an induced abortion.

Note that having a miscarriage during pregnancy is a form of abortion but not a deliberately abortion. Today, the term “abortion”, is more associated with the deliberate termination of a pregnancy.

A miscarriage is the spontaneous loss of a fetus before the 20th week of pregnancy. Pregnancy lost after the 20th week are called stillbirths. Miscarriage is a naturally occurring event, unlike medical or surgical abortions.

It is important we understand that a miscarriage happen spontaneously and sometimes, it may be a missed miscarriage, when the pregnant do not feel that the fetus is lifeless.

It is a world controversial discuss to conclude on how appropriate abortion is. Women opt for abortion for various reasons, especially persons who unwilling got pregnant through rape or cases involving a perceived deformity in the fetus.

This discuss is channeled to single/unmarried women who willingly engaged in sex, but are not ready to mother a child.

Single ladies who engage in premarital sex, why smell the food when you do not want to eat? That child didn’t beg to be born, so…?

How do you manage to sleep at night, knowing fully well that you are not set for the unexpected-expected? What’s your price tag that makes you so vulnerable behind the closed doors of immorality.

World Health Organization posits that:

  • Around 45% of all abortions are unsafe, of which 97% take place in developing countries.
  • Unsafe abortion is a leading – but preventable – cause of maternal deaths and morbidities. It can lead to physical and mental health complications and social and financial burdens for women, communities and health systems.

In as much as abortion could be a medically prescribed solution in some cases, it shouldn’t be an option to fall on after a deliberate sexual intercourse by a single female, who satisfied her fleshly desire to live with the fear of a missed menstrual cycle.

Young women in this category are considered to be the most patients who seek abortion as a remedy to evacuate an expected life being conceived. Majority of these women patronize shortcuts to flush the fetus.  In most cases, there are complications which lead to regrets.

Truth be told, most unmarried women hide their intention to engage in abortion from their friends and family. Once the pregnancy is terminated, they may enter into: Depression, self-pity, regrets, sometimes hate for their sex partners, suicidal thoughts etc. If they experienced complications as a result of poor abortion practices, they bear the pain silently.

The news of the act often gets to their close buddies by the time the effect of the complication is at its worst or their corpse are placed six feet below the ground.

Dear Young Woman, do not smell a food you do not want to eat.

  1. Really thankful for the online pharmacy website that provided me with the abortion pill as I was going through my unwished pregnancy. It was MTP Kit with two medications mifepristone and misoprostol helped me to get rid of my pregnancy.
