Fear is something that kills a believer’s inheritance in Christ. One must be fearless to preserve their inheritance, if you are not careful, you will be a bondage to the spirit of fear. For you to overcome feat, you need to wake up to the realities of the finished works of Christ. You must know that fear is of the devil, he is the custodian of fear. One of the things that Jesus came to do is to destroy the system of fear. Every fear starts with a suggestion, sometimes it might start with a fault but that doesn’t make it true or correct.
The reality that makes you wake up from fear is that, you must put all your trust in Jesus. When whatever you put your trust in fail, fear comes in. You won’t know the effect of fear on your life until you say no to fear. One must believe and accept with all full convictions that Jesus Christ came in the form of flesh and blood. And also believe and accept that fear is not from Jesus Christ. There is no way you can come out of fear/ overcome fear outside of Jesus.
As believers, you have to preserve your inheritance. You must be able to ensure hardship as a soldier of Christ. Don’t look for short cut to hardship, it is part of the process that breaks you. No short cut in the things of God, so don’t look for short cuts. God can’t trust you with His things if you can’t endure hardship, you must not bow to pressure. Don’t seek alternatives. When you are going through hardship, always remember that it is not to kill you but to train you. Hardship is one of the process that God use to build you.
Preserving your inheritance is a matter of warfare. Following Jesus is a call to die, the first engagement for the rule of warfare is love.
As you follow Jesus closely, you must not entangle yourself with the affairs of life. The easiest way for you to entangle yourself is through association, be careful of association. Once you know that you are entangled, don’t go to the altar. It is too dangerous, because when you are entangled, you will be captured.
How to kill your fear.
1. The spirit of power (knowledge) :- You will be a slave when you don’t have knowledge, lack of knowledge puts you into captivity. Knowledge liberates you, it chases out fear. When you have intercourse with information, it will give birth to power in you.
2. The spirit of love:- The spirit of love eradicates and drains fear completely. One of the secrets to operate on the altar is love. Before God will commission you as a shepherd, He must see the spirit of love in you.
3. Sound mind:- When you have a sound mind, that is the mind of Christ, fear literally disappears from your mind. Sound mind makes your Christian race seamless, because you are able to relate with the word of God you have heard and seen.
