President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Rome, Italy, to attend the Aqaba Process Heads of State and Government Meeting, focused on tackling security challenges in West Africa.
The summit, which begins October 14, will bring together African leaders, military chiefs, and global partners to discuss terrorism, cross-border crime, and maritime piracy in the Sahel and Gulf of Guinea.
Launched by King Abdullah II of Jordan in 2015, the Aqaba Process promotes international collaboration against terrorism. Tinubu is expected to hold bilateral talks with other leaders on improving regional security and curbing online radicalisation.
