Inheritance is something we didn’t work for, but we enjoy the blessings and success that come with it. Solomon, for example, didn’t pray for an inheritance, but it was bequeathed to him because he was the offspring of David. Many times,  there is a probability that we abuse the prophetic power due to familiarity. Some things should naturally flow to you because you are in a prophetic clan, but you might not benefit from the stream of the prophetic due to familiarity. In a prophetic clan, there are at least three categories of people that should benefit from the prophetic clan (stream), and these are;

1.) Those who are distressed.

2.) kings.

3.) The sons of the prophets.

THOSE WHO ARE DISTRESSED

These are those who are embattled, those  are facing or would face because of the persons that encompass them round about, those who will navigate life in the midst of fierce opposition in life. At times, most people are stuck and they don’t know God has designed a prophet to minister to them. God will not send many prophets to minister to you, hold that person tightly. There is nothing logical to the problem and solution of a problem, expertise cannot do it, all you need is a prophet. Don’t shit your heart from the move of God. God is committed I am unusual Diane sound to reveal Himself through prophets.  2King 6-1-7, 8-23, 2Kings 5:1-14. 

KINGS

Kings are those who have decided to rise in every spheres. There are people who God wants to use mightily in their different endeavors m, it takes a prophet to first anoint a king, that anointing is to commission the king to do the will of God. To commission men is actually the call of a prophet. All through the scriptures, kings are anointed by prophets because human affairs were primarily governed by prophets. 1Sam 10:1. 1Kings 1:34. 

THE SONS OF PROPHETS

The reasons they are called sons of prophets is to learn the role of the prophet. The prophetic call is one of the most delicate call in the Bible. 2Kings 6:1-4. You cannot learn from a man from afar, the sons of the prophets should have daily access to the prophet. You must know who your prophet is, and key into it wholly. Sons of the prophet is a calling that matures you to the office of a prophet. And that prophetic is not passed to church members but sons of the prophet. 

You can be called to sons of the prophet but you might not get anything because of misalignment, stubbornness and lack of brokenness. God can wait but He cannot wait forever. God can replace, promote and stop a man. You can have be familiar with a prophet yet you won’t get anything from him. When God sends a prophet to you, God uses that mandate to bless you and He sees that that mandate grows into establishment and maturity. One of the way of getting the prophetic is genuine service.
