In the house of God, where Jesus has been given the priesthood, not everyone is a partaker of His heavenly calling. If you are not walking in holiness, you can’t be a partaker of His priesthood. Jesus did not leave heaven without a mission; He left with a mission. Everyone who is in the priesthood has been called. That is, the priesthood is the called’s basic responsibilities. We can’t understand the priesthood of Jesus without knowing about the sonship of Jesus. The house of God is an eternal pillar. It is a place of prayer, revival, worship, service, judgment, government, and authority; it is a place of inheritance. A believer is the temple of God and must live a holy life. Only those who can retain the priesthood and sonship will make it to heaven. 

The freshness and newness of our love should always be for Jesus.  In the Old Testament, we have ministering priests and teaching priests. Any priest who does not follow Jesus faithfully will not pass through Jesus Christ into heaven. Priesthood is one of the requirements for making heaven. For us to meet up with God’s requirements and standards, we have to focus on Jesus. As a priesthood, we must offer ourselves and offer prayers. A priest who is defiled cannot stand or function in his priesthood and cannot minister to God. 

Conformity will cause disqualification in functioning as a priest unto God and men, who we submit to as a priest, shows how we function because every altar requires a lifestyle. We can’t function as believers if we are not devoted, disciplined, and steadfast in the kingdom. The priest you submit to will determine your destination; there is power and authority in the priesthood of Jesus. We are in the last days where people are surviving by the priesthood.
