The fear of God is a necessity for you to overcome the wicked one. The word of God is obedience to the will of God, if you don’t have the word of God, you can’t overcome the wicked one. The foundation of how to gain victory is when the word of God is abiding in you. It takes grace to overcome this generation. You will see the wicked one prosper and think it’s God but it is not God, you need grace to overcome if you will not miss it in life. There is a grace that transforms your life and it is visible to all men, grace does not give you permission or license you for liberty to sin. There is restriction to grace. First thing that grace will teach you is to deny ungodliness, worldly lust and live soberly, righteously. Grace affects your focus and directs your direction, it makes you have and look forward to the appearing of Jesus. When you find grace, grace will instruct you.
The grace of the Lord must be abundant before you can overcome the world. You must practice the principles of total separation and dissociation from the wicked one. Spiritual things are not meant to be logical. Flee away from youthful lust. Don’t negotiate or entertain sin, the devil will gain victory over you when you entertain youthful lust. Don’t be brought under the power of anything at all, because your life will flow in the direction of your choice. You can overcome the wicked one, if you run after righteousness. Let God be the first thing you hold on to, when you begin to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, He will shut all doors to see if you will wait on Him or not. God will affect your conscience when you begin to seek Him. You won’t have alternative when you begin to seek God. Righteousness gives you an edge to overcome wickedness. God will give you power because God rewards intimately.
To overcome the wicked one, pursue faith in Christ. Faith gives you stamina in the realm of the spirit. Genuine love of Christ is the greatest evidence that you love God and you won’t sin against Him. The love of Christ will constrain you, no man will be your standard for living if you genuinely love God. As a lover of Christ, never you leave your peace for anything in this life.
Get genuine company of prayer warriors. Look for those whose fire are burning, so that they can ignite you. If you want to secure your future, you must secure it in prayer, shut your door and pray.
