It is important that you grow in your walk with God. You don’t grown stronger with the vine if you can’t stay with the vine, the day you start living in test, you start losing your strength. The evidence that there is a living water inside of you is when it overflow, until people starts drinking from what you have, you don’t have strength. It takes a man of strength to strengthen others. The ultimate outcome of your life is based on your decision.
There are ways you can grow stronger and for you to be stronger, you must commit to Jesus as the source of your life; the commitment to Jesus is all you need to feed your soul. A man of strength carries the burden of others, when you don’t grow stronger with God, you will be cut off. If you don’t stay with Him sooner or later, you will seek alternatives. When you gather strength, you are able to combat sin, a weak man cannot combat sin or go away from sin. Staying with the vine makes you stronger, let your strength be known to all men. A man without strength cannot exhibit power, and the only place to find this strength is from the vine. The ways to stay with God is to purge yourself of things that are ungodly.
If you want to grow stronger with God, you must learn to practice making Jesus your source; it is not enough that you commit yourself but learn to practice. All men can pray but not all men can stay, it is those who stays gets strength when practicing staying. Whatever you abide in produces the fruits of your life. Consistency is one of the greatest strength you need as a believer, God has called us to stay and abide, this is the only way we can grow. Men who have strength don’t survive by the intellectual capacity of men, they wait on God. You can’t run outside Jesus and find strength. Abiding in Him means to be strongly attached to Him and continually fed by the word of God, to be deeply available. Those who abide are never idle, if you don’t practice abiding in Him, you will become empty and worthless. Men who abide in God will always be tempted, but yet don’t get distracted.
Focusing your heart on the love and joy that flows form abiding helps you grow stronger. There is a joy that Jesus gives that cannot be sold. What keeps you waiting and abiding is the joy you draw from His presence, there is no physical explanation to a man having strength from joy. The joy of the Lord brings strength, focus on the love of Jesus, there is love and joy. Stay a little more on the joy of the Lord. This is how you grow when you abide in Him. Time will try your faith, strength and life will stand up and put you on the spot. The word of the Lord gives you strength, for you to continually draw strength you have to get it form the word of God. The word of God must purge and correct you, the moment the word of God is reproving you and you are not aligning then you are wrong, and that makes you a liar.
Preaching the gospel and staying put is the foundation, growth and fellowship with God. Being with God is not for a season, you must stay put. Man must not be the reason you are abiding, if not, you will fail. Your staying will make others stay, when you are not purged, your vessel will leak. The secret of bringing the fragrance of God are those who stay. Time will come when revelations will not make sense anymore, it is your staying that matters. A man that has stayed will always rub off on others.
Don’t let your light go out, the target of the devil is your light. There are times God will make you helpless, when God makes you helpless, don’t try to help yourself. Let God help you, so the world can see He has helped you. The help of God makes you grow strong.
