The journey is about searching, we need to seek God. If you are not seeking right, you won’t get result. In seeking, two things are very important. These are; the seeker and object of seeking. Seeking means to search, look out for. A seeker is always updated, a seeker knows where God is per time. Seeking is a lifestyle, as a child of God, it’s is not a one off thing. A seeker is a man of sacrifice, you cannot be a seeker and have control or ownership over your time, will and comfort. You must live a life of sacrifice. You must learn to sacrifice your time for God, the way we live in the kingdom is a life of sacrifice, every child of the kingdom must be a seeker. A seeker is a dweller of the word of God, the seeker applies the word of God, he lives by the word of God. Seeking goes beyond prayers, it is an advanced method of prayer. You can’t be a seeker if you can’t read.
A seeker depends on God’s help. You must always see God as your helper. No man will take the glory when you are being helped by God. When you see God as your ultimate helper, you won’t struggle with His instructions, you will trust His decisions. A seeker understands what it means to be helpless outside of God, a seeker has no alternative. He sees God as his source and ultimate help. A seeker is a man of separation, a seeker must come out of multitude to seek God, because you can’t get God with distractions. A seeker must live a separated life. Seekers are men of God’s presence. They are men of understanding, insight, revelation and depth.
There are two groups of people who claims they are seekers. The one who seeks God and His kingdom and the one who seeks earthly/worldly things (The ones seeking God’s hands). Seeking His kingdom means seeking His face not His hand. When you seek the face of God, you have access to His eyes, ears, face, smell and taste. You will have access to everything of God when you seek Him diligently. Seeking is actually the law of God, every priest must be a seeker. Seeking is a conscious effort, you must be devoted if you want to be a seeker. A seeker must see God in love, that is, get God in love. Every seeker must seek God with all humility, and must be swift to repentance.
