Bola’s entrepreneurial journey began with a vision to make essential products easily accessible while striving for financial independence. She started with snacks and cold drinks but expanded her business to offer a variety of products and services.
Challenges and Solutions
Bola has faced several hurdles, including limited capital, low business visibility, and biases due to her skin color. To navigate these challenges, she has focused on offering quality products and excellent customer service to retain and attract more clients.
Achievements and Aspirations
Despite financial challenges, Bola has grown Ire Multiventures into a multi-service enterprise. She has also embraced dropshipping to increase her product offerings. Her goal is to secure a dedicated shop space to further expand her business and enhance customer experience.

Akanmu Oluwafunmilola Rebecca is the visionary behind ID Sparkle Venture, a business that produces and sells liquid soap, Izal, air fresheners, Dettol, organic soap, cream, ponmo, underwear, and confectioneries.

Rebecca’s motivation for starting her business stemmed from her desire for financial independence and to support her family. She started small and gradually expanded her product line as she gained experience and market demand increased.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the major challenges she has faced is fluctuating material costs, which affects pricing and profitability. To mitigate these issues, she stays in close contact with her suppliers to anticipate price changes and adjust accordingly.
Achievements and Aspirations
Rebecca has successfully registered her business with the CAC and has trained two individuals who have gone on to start their own businesses. She aims to scale up operations and establish a well-structured production facility to increase daily output.

Ayinde Toyin Abiola – Founder, Mama B Venture, Ibadan, Oyo State
Ayinde Toyin Abiola is the founder of Mama B Venture, a business focused on food packaging, including dried cow skin, dried pepper, and Garri Ijebu/Egba. She also offers subscription services such as data and cable TV subscriptions.


Journey and Inspiration
Ayinde’s entrepreneurial journey was influenced by Mum Erelu and the Wrapper Network community. With an empowerment grant of #80,000 from Mum Bisi Fayemi, she took the bold step of starting her business, which has now expanded to international markets.
Challenges and Solutions
Initially, Ayinde struggled with selling detergents and condiments before pivoting to food packaging. Finding the right suppliers at affordable rates was also a challenge, but with the support of her parents, she was able to secure reliable wholesale vendors.
Achievements and Aspirations
Ayinde’s business has grown significantly, reaching customers beyond Nigeria. She hopes to expand further by increasing her stock levels, which will help reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency.
