As a young girl, I never understood the importance of seeing women chase their dreams and achieve great feats. So, I never looked beyond whatever was right in front of me. To me, if I could just have this little thing sorted out, I would be fine.

As I grew up, I became more “ambitious”. I wanted to do more with my life. Chase bigger dreams live a bigger life of impact but I was worried.

What if this was not right for women, what if I struggled to get my own place in a world where restrictions have been placed on my kind.

Many women struggle every day with these thoughts, even with everyday things.

 They want to rent houses but are worried about renting something too big that they seem too independent. They want to buy cars but are worried that it will only make their single journey longer. They want to take up jobs but are worried they would not be accepted in a space that is not “meant” for women.

I began to feel comfortable when I saw other women doing the things I hoped to do. I realised I could do it and I did not have anything fear.

In those cases, those women were my “bigger” women!

 You are somebody’s bigger woman, stay true keep pushing!
