As of July 16 confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 6,115,401 while over 38,546,648 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 155,455 and 5,313,275 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,253,240 and 65,972 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (549,844), Tunisia (526,487), Egypt (283,490), Ethiopia (277,443), Libya (214,568) and Kenya (191,020).
