held on the 6th of May 2019, with the theme: Camp Fashion, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, United States, marked the event’s 71st anniversary. It was an amazing event as artists such as Lady Gaga, Billy Porter, Kim Kardashian, Serena William, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Lili Reinhart, Serena William, Yara Sahidi, Cardi B, etc. came out revealing the campest looks they could bring on to the pink carpet.

Here are the top 5 looks we loved

1. Billy Porter in the blonds

Billy Porter made an amazing entrance in the 2019 met gala carried in Cleopatra style on an Egyptian throne but for a queen. He was wearing a custom gold Egyptian look by blonds, which was completed with a pair of wings.

2. Cardi B in Thom Browne

Cardi B always rocks every fashion event. It couldn’t have been more campy without her. She totally rocked the pink carpet wearing a down filled dress layered in ox blood tulle and silk organza, complete with an almost 10 feet long train, by designer Thom Browne.

3. Yara Sahidi In Prada

Yara Sahidi the amazing actress wore a custom Prada look inspired by a 50’s one piece swim suit. Along side paired with a pair of bedazzled tights. The look was totally awesome, but what I love the most about her style is the hair, it’s just 100% campy.

4. Serena Williams in Versace

The record breaking tennis player Serena Williams and the Met Gala 2019 co-host, really rocked the met gala with a yellow Versace flowing gown combined with yellow Nike sneakers. That’s totally a camp fashion.

5. Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart

Our cutest camp couple goes to these two. Lili rocked this year’s met gala in this aquamarine short set while her date Cole goofs it up in a Ferragamo suit inspired by an archival shoe circa 1938. They looked amazing.
