Let me explain this, Some ladies were discussing sometime back about how some men don’t know how to do the right thing. I was eavesdropping on them though but I later realised that they were saying the gospel truth.
Just imagine a lady carrying some heavy luggage and pulling through till she gets on the bus and there’s a guy behind her, who didn’t offer to help out only for him to get on the bus with this ‘lady’, then he starts engaging her and asking to be friends with her, when she clearly saw him behind her while she was battling with her luggage… Please does that makes sense?
Perhaps, a lady is on a bus and pays her transport fare, you ignore trying, or even pretending to act like you want to match up for her, after she has paid you open your mouth to start engaging her and worse of all, you utter a statement like this “You know, I would have paid but I wasn’t sure you would let me do it”…. Oh puhhhhhleezzze! Can we say something else?
No lady will give you audience, it shows you are just a cheap being and ladies don’t do cheap anymore.
So, if you think you don’t want to at least match up before pursuing.? Welldone sir! Sleep deeply.

I will not say anything o but really, I think it’s wrong to just overlook a lady with a luggage.
@chief tee… that’s the annoying mindset we are talking about. what do you mean by you will be the one carrying the expenses later on, if a man wants be good, let him show the signs of the good things to come.

This is the part of gender equality I think we’d never settle, I don’t think I’m superior to a woman but since we are equal mentally shouldn’t we be so socially too? If she needs help she should ask for it, it’s not even in this age and time you just volunteer to carry bags for people. Hence the later talk and trying to get to know the person before carrying bag, and why can’t girls sometimes pay transport fare for guys too?

Of course, since we are using the word “Man up” i guess it means women should man up too. I mean isn’t that what the whole thing is about?
It has happened ooo..A jab on our faces..I don’t like initiating a convo with a lady in the bus because the next thing (let me say some) would think is he is trying to hit on me. But peradventure we get talking i most times won’t ask for contacts because we guys ain’t cheap as well. **Smiles**
I am not throwing tantrums at all. I am just saying the truth. that he helped you in carrying your stuff before hitting on you doesn’t mean he is a good material. If you think that men have time to be thinking of such, then you are wrong.
Tell it! Tell them. This is spot on it has happened to me before, he didn’t even offer to help me but he was fast to ask for friendship and start unncessary conversation. First impression matters.
Do you know if he needed help too? I mean you could have continued with the conversation then ask why he didn’t help you when apparently you seemingly needed one

A very good looking guy tried that with me and I gave him my piece. he thought his cute face could buy me off but trust me I ain’t gat no time for such bull crap. He saw me with a very big box trying to get into the bus, he pushed me and I almost fell to the ground but the bus conductor managed to help me. Then I got into the bus and he wants to have my number. Make God punish devil. Lmao!
Common sense is not common at all, someone needs help give it and make her happy. Then she can gladly talk to you as a guy.
Well some guys are actually niece to an extent. A chap helped me sometime ago, i was carrying two bags filled with foodbstuffs and he assisted me with the heaviest bag to the nearest bus stop. He jst waved and said goodbye pretty lady. And that was the last time i saw his cute face, that’s what every guy should do when they see a lady who needs help.
Advice to all men, if you can’t help a lady in terms of need, there’s no need trying to get acquinted to her cuz you will fail woefully. Just respect your old age and go thy way.
