The weekend is here! Thanks for being there folks. Today’s rant is very peculiar and as usual it hits almost everyone. Since, the invention of wtsapp, the mobile app for chatting, calling etc, people hardly make good calls anymore. I mean, people hardly use their airtime in calling their loved ones.
Some people call on wtsapp and believe when I say., the ring tone of that thing can be appalling. The issue here is that somepeople just call without requesting to know if the other person has adequate data for such a call. You can’t call me on wtsaapp without knowing if I have the particular kind of data for such a call, then you call, out of respect I pick and you speak for over 10minutes at the end of the call, my data is exhausted.
Well, I think this wtsapp call thing is quite expensive than normal call rates because it sucks data and what if, there are other serious things to do online? I mean, there are always serious stuff online for data rather than calls.
In fact, during birthdays, there are no more calls, all you receive is a pile up of wtsapp messages what happens when you aren’t online? I think we need to get somethings straight. We don’t need to abuse relationships with an online app.
A call is valid. It’s important that the call it’s not done on wtsapp or even as a chat. Sometimes, just go off the norm.

Yeah, especially those guys that think they are smart. Rich guys don’t do wtsapp calls. In fact I don’t pick such calls.
@gloria, don’t be deceived o. It could be awoof credit that the guy is using. Sincerely I think before one makes such calls, ask the other party how comfortable he/she will be. I also don’t like wtsapp calls especially when the network starts fluctuating, it can be annoying.
Everytime i read this rant, I always feel the emotions of the writer. I’m in love with her already. Sincerely, wtsapp has made a lot of us lazy. In fact some people will call and ask you to come online… Seriously?
I think that was the intention of the inventor though, whatsapp was developed to substitute the traditional text messages and calls. I’m not against requesting permission before calling someone with whatsapp but I guess it’s hight time we get used to the trend of this time

Gbammm. U just hit the nail on the head. People no longer have sense of call again, permit me to use that word. Some can’t even call their loved ones during special occasions just because they feel its exorbitant.
Well I have a vaccine for those who don’t call, and that is ignoring them. By the time they send a message and I read and didn’t reply they will respect their old age. Stingy ass!
As for those who don’t know how to call, you can come to momma I sure know how to curb you to do the right thing.
