Tanzania: 6 Trafficked Girls Rescued, 2 With Now Mothers

 Police are in contact with their counterparts and Social welfare department in Ngara District to reunites six girls who are the recent victims of human trafficking.

Mara regional police Commander Ramadhani Nga’anzi said among the 6 victims 2 already have children after being trafficked.

The RPC added that the teenagers were found in Masinki Village hidden in a house belonging to a 60- year-old woman (name withheld), who had allegedly made them sex workers.

Mr Nga’anzi said police in Ngara and Mara regions were still pursuing co-conspirators.
