Hello readers,

Welcome to the rant column.

Today, I want to discuss something that gets me totally pissed. The act of borrowing pen without returning it. I cannot count the number of times I have had to buy different pens because someone, somehow collected my pen and refused to give it back. You might say the person forgot, but hey, did you bring  a pen before having one and using it? I think the proper and responsible thing to do is use the pen and give it back to the owner immediately.

pen rant

This happens in Banks a lot. You see, people come to the banking hall for  a transaction with no pen, they eventually get one and do not return it back. It is appalling.

I don’t give out my pen to those who aren’t within my reach. If you want to collect my pen, you must be within my reach.I should be able to see you to stalk you till I get my pen back. It is annoying to discover when you get home that, the person you gave your pen to didn’t give it back. That regret is enough for someone to lose trust. Yeah, it is funny but it is the truth. When we give out things to people and they don’t give it back and we become in need of that particular thing, the kinda ”regret chill” that fills one’s body is unexplainable.

Please, If you meet me anywhere and I refuse to give you my pen, don’t blame me. I have just learnt how to keep my pen in my pocket. I am not mean, it just means you need to buy yours and use yours!

Have a sweet week people

  1. You are right dear. I think what I will be doing now is to go with plenty pens to the banking hall. So when anyone borrow for pen I will bring it out for sale. Lol. Business tips

  2. You are absolutely right. I mean how can someone going to a bank to do transaction not have a pen. I don’t know how many pens I have lost because someone in the bank borrowed it and never returned it.
The same thing happens in offices.

  3. I just love the realness of this writer. This is apt. I can’t count the number of pens I have misplaced in the banking hall because I borrowed someone who didn’t return.
