Malawi’s top Fifa assistant referee Bernadettar Kwimbira Mzika has made the cut for the 10 Africa Cup of Nations women’s football officiating panel to be held in Cameroon from 19 November to December 3.
Kwimbira Mzika is among a list of 14 assistant referees and 11 referees for the tournament.
The former athlete, who returned from Cameroon for Caf Elite referees course on Tuesday, will be making her fourth consecutive service after Equatorial Guinea, South Africa and Namibia in 2014.
Last year she officiated at her first world cup in Canada followed up by this year’s Olympic Games in Brazil.
Hosts Cameroo , Egypt, South Africa and Zimbabwe are in group A while holders Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Mali are group B.
