Sudan Launches the Five-Year Strategy for the Mother, Child and Teenage Health

 Sudan will be the first country in the middle East to celebrate the launch of the 5year strategy for the health of mother, child and teenage, in line with the international strategy for the improvement of the health of mothers, children and teenagers and in realization of the commitment of the president of the republic to the strategy which he signed in September 2015, and which was declared by the United Nations.

The ceremony for launching the strategy will be held in Khartoum on Wednesday and spearheaded by the Ministry of Health- Department for Basic Health Care.

The ceremony will be honored by the first lady, Widad Babikir, and is under the supervision of the Minister for health and in the presence of representatives of the regional offices of the international organizations and concerned parties. The ceremony takes place at Al Salam Rotana, Khartoum.
