Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the 2025 IFFHS Women’s World Best Goalkeeper Award, becoming the only African among the ten global nominees.

Nnadozie, who plays for Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Women’s Super League, joins top contenders including Ann-Katrin Berger (Germany), Cata Coll (Spain), and Christiane Endler (Chile).

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a stellar year, winning the Best Goalkeeper award at the 2025 WAFCON and earning a CAF Goalkeeper of the Year nomination for the third consecutive time.

If she wins, Nnadozie will become the first African woman to claim the IFFHS global honour.
