Dear Readers,
Welcome To The Rant Column.
If there is anything I wish people would understand, it is the right to own one’s choice. We are different and what we want is totally different which I believe that as adults, we should be allowed to manage and own the choices we make or the decisions we choose.
I attended a meeting recently and the speaker spoke about staying true to one’s self, making yourself aware of what is available and what can be accepted by you. According to her, this will phase out every form of quandary. Later on, she asked people to talk about what they cannot live with no matter what the society thinks about it. She told us to be honest and this very honest lady rose up and said, She cannot live with a Poor Man and almost everyone in that room screamed in disdain.
Like seriously? What’s the pretence for? She gave a honest statement. Thankfully, the speaker didn’t paint her black but advised every other person to be true to themselves.
Really, we have a way of forcing our thoughts, beliefs and actions on other people. It is their Choice! Let them be. If a person says, they cannot be a part of something and the other says, yes! Let each of them be. Allow them make their decisions. No man should be made to live according to the self belief of another person. Live what you believe and let every other person Live theirs. Life is too short Please!
Have a Great Week!

God will bless you for writing this o. Nigerians just have a way of forcing things down your throat, is it your mind?
Jeez! This one enter o. The fact that she used such an example and wrote it unapologetically, jeez! You are one very interesting individual but serously, we should just live and let live abeg.
Hmmm God will help us. People find it hard to mind their business in this country. They know what is moral as opposed what is not. Every one seems to have superior knowledge and don’t waste time to speak rather than listen/reflect on what has been said.
Our ideas and opinions are influenced by a lot of factors. When we are not so narrow-minded or apt to act wiser than others, we gain more knowledge and understanding reigns.
Mind your business ! Shikena. Let people take charge of what suits them.
Everybody is entitled to his/her own opinion and shouldn’t be criticised for it.
You stand for what you want and never compromise.
