Continued from the last episode.

Welcome to the kiosk my kiosk people, good to have you here once again.

Amaka shared the brutality of her husband with us, which was really very surprising to everyone. Seeing Amaka, you will never assume that she would be going through such. She looked too clean. ”Madame K, he hits me everyday, it could be something as little as not answering him on time, I have tried all I could to know what the problem is but I can’t find a stand on anything because anything causes it.

Two nights before, he beat me for not cleaning the table to his taste. We have a maid but I still don’t get it. Every opportunity at hitting me, he gives in. He wasn’t like that before we got married I can’t explain it madame k and all my kiosk sisters., I can’t explain when he became like this. He was a very spiritual man. At this stage, she started crying uncontrollably…”

I called her out, Amaka! wipe your tears and let’s deal with this issue.

hope and love

Are you really sure he didn’t show signs of hitting you in the relationship? How many years did you guys date? ”we dated for 3 months”. What! I screamed. Three months? Just like that Amaka? I don’t get it. Explain to me I need to understand this whole thing. ”Madame K, she said… I have been in the church for some years and as an hardworking church girl, I was really loved by my papa and mama in the lord.

They were concerned about my singleness and were praying fervently for me. So, one fateful day, Shola came to the church, fervent, hardworking and loving. Papa and mama hooked us up and he was great, he never laid a finger on me. He’s so gentle in the relationship. I just couldn’t wait for us to get married and now I regret getting married.” We all sighed deeply after her story. Amaka, I said, you didn’t know this man at all, he worked on the footage he was given and you were overwhelmed by it.

You cannot judge a man’s character according to what he does in church. Character is key. I am sorry but this got rotten from the foundation. Unfortunately, papa and mama aren’t living with you so you are dancing to your music alone. Anyway, we will make sure that the same mama and papa that hooked you both will be instrumental in making things right for you both.

So, the first question is, are you ready to speak genuinely to your pastors about the behaviour of your spouse, Amaka? ”Yes, I am madame K, the bruises on my face are now like a trace markbook”. Your face? I wondered, It’s glittering. She smiled scornfully, Madame K, it’s makeup. Let me rinse my face outside and you will see it. To the surprise of everyone, she did and when Amaka came back, I was looking for her, I just couldn’t place them.

broken

”Madame K, This is my real face. This is the real Amaka. Beaten, broken, battered and drained”. We couldn’t hide our emotions, tears started dripping off our eyes. Amaka, I said, We will help you. I will help you and there is just one thing involved, You will have to leave that man while we help you both…

Then she said, ”Madame K, let me run, It’s almost six he will soon be home”. Amaka ran out of the kiosk with speed and we stared at her for a long time wishing that she will not be caned again today…

We shall meet again next week.

  1. See notification gang ooo. You people have been waiting. I have been waiting too.

I am so scared for Amaka ehn. I hope he won’t beat her and I love that statement from madame K, she should leave the man while they settle him mentally.

  2. 3 months pere.. Before and After marraige is serious work oo, I’m really learning madam K. But it is such a pity though, Amaka is seriously suffering.
    Please help her.

  3. Someone I know dated for just 4weeks and got married. The abroad guy got married to her, and left her here, it’s been over a year now. Sometimes our women are too in a hurry.

  4. I have seen someone that barely know each other but got married and things still work out, though it ain’t chilling at all. People need to know each other very well before jumping into a relationship. Marriage is a lifetime thing that needs a repetitive, concentrated approach.

  5. Hmm….. What brutality. Some men are just out rightly wicked. Waiting for next week when this issue will be really dealt with. We’ll done madam K

  6. Just imagine a wife running home out of fear. That’s killing!
she needs to move out. I love that advice madame K.

  7. Hmmmmmm, what a life. Too bad these things are actually happening in the real life.
However, how long you date a guy doesn’t really matter but 4 weeks nd 3 months are pretty too small. Minimum should e at least 6 months, for me oo. Amala, madam K will help you and you will be free soon.
