Signs and wonders is the system that God uses to bring men to Himself. Signs and wonders is something of God. The devil is now capitalizing on that system called signs and wonders to deceive and draw men to him, even when he understands that signs and wonders doesn’t not take anyone to heaven. When God sends a man, He approves Him with signs and wonders. The first man that God sent in the Bible was “MOSES”.  And great signs and wonders were wrought by God through him. There is no movement of God that will not see signs and wonders. And that is why the devil has hijacked it in this last days to distracts people. Signs and wonders is just one of the process God uses  to confirm a man He has sent. The church will normally flow where there is signs and wonders. 

One must not allow signs and wonders be their goals if they really want to serve God, let Jesus be your goal. Only Jesus can change a man, signs and wonders is not an ultimate thing in the kingdom, the ultimate thing of the kingdom is Jesus. Whatever God does that does not lead you to heaven is a total waste of time/life. 

The primary reasons the devil has hijacked signs and wonders are;

1. To deceive the elect:- The devil is showing great signs and wonders in other to make people believe his lies and follow him so as to have their souls forever.

2. To make people’s faith unstable:- In other words, to doubt Jesus Christ. And believe in his lies so as to fall into his antics. Whatever you don’t take through the HolySpirit will put you at risk.
