The fashion industry has evolved of course, this is no longer news especially the Nigerian fashion industry. It has emerged from being the joint of tailors to the abode of great fashion designers and illustrators. It’s a trailblazing stride that we are proud of and even the world at large can reckon with the fashion industry in Nigeria.

On this edition of Inspiring women, we bring to you the life of a Young, intelligent and dynamic fashion designer who is also a fashion illustrator. Miss Deborah Jesunami Ashan is the brain behind Illustrative Fashion studio. A dynamic fashion house that illustrates pieces and bring them into reality. It’s the ready to wear, fit for the event fashion studio.

Her journey into the fashion industry started 10 years ago as a secondary school leaver, with the passion and her conscious effort in grooming and growing herself, she has built a house of fashion with its own unique platform. This is laced with her determination in making sure that her niche is made and her trademark is effective in every pieces sewn.

As a graduate of Architecture, she brings the finesse of the profession to her pieces, making sure that every line evolves for the perfect finish! She’s been awarded as the female fashion designer of the year courtesy of Escape Awards. Deborah has been able to combine fashion and technology which springs the well of totality and world class competition.

According to her, there’s no such thing as making the difference in the industry, it’s about creating a niche for yourself.  As a measure of giving back to the society she gathered some young and creative fashion designers to teach them the onions of illustration., illustration makes your piece a world piece.
