Welcome to the rant Column
If you have ever had an encounter with an artisan, an incompetent and unreliable one at that, you will really understand this rant of mine.
Though the unfortunate thing is, the very annoying ones are so conspicuous than the good ones out there. A friend of mine called me to complain about the Seamstress she gave her cloths to. She picked a particular style for her to make, only for this woman to make something totally different. She practically spoilt the material that was given to her.
The issue is, when you know that you cannot make something that’s been given to you, why don’t you own up? Say it plainly that you cannot make it and don’t tear people’s sanity by doing something totally wrong.
There are some of them that are pretty good but very unreliable, when they say they will be somewhere by 10am? please expect them by 1pm. They are so unreliable but good. I wonder how these people expect their businesses to grow. If salient matters like keeping to time, delivering as expected and doing a very clean job is a big deal for most of them? How will the business grow?
The third ones, are those that love increasing the price of everything as soon as they hear about any increase. Even when inflation is gone, they will never bring the price back to the previous cost.
Kindly share your experience{s} with me in the comment section.

I’ve actually experienced all three, imagine giving your aṣọ ẹbi for your best friends wedding to a tailor and he totally killed it as well as delivered it too late. Totally had to wear an old clothe to a wedding I practically planned
You can say that again… The annoying ones are very conspicuous o. My former car mechanic will always inflate prices every time until I caught him.
I met a tailor that killed my clothe, ran away with my money also. Seriously, this pushed me to start making my clothes myself.
Lol. Mehn! These guys can be very demonic. They push people to do what they don’t want to most times.
Arrrrrrrggggg, I can relate with all three. It can be very annoying and heart breaking.
Chai, you know that moment when you see your cloth and you are like, ah is this the style I choose. And the tailor will stil be trying to justify herself like she got the style right.
Or the hair dresser is forming baddo and ends up making rubbish. Na so we see am for niaja oo.
