Today is the 59th birthday of a beloved member of the Above Whispers family, Mrs Gloria Ogunbadejo. For those of you who have just started visiting our website, Auntie Gloria writes a weekly column for Above Whispers called Making it Better. I have known Auntie Gloria for at least twenty-four years. We met in London in the early 90s, and we worked together in the same organisation for a few years till I moved to Ghana. Auntie Gloria is the woman you need in your corner, whatever phase you are going through, no matter what mood you are in. She laughs heartily with you when there is joy to be shared. She holds your hand (even from a distance) when the times are rough. And she is always there to just listen when you want to talk about anything. Many achieve fame and glory. Very few become wise. Auntie Gloria is a wise, loving, kind, joyful and generous woman – and much more.
Happy birthday Auntie G. May your days be filled with joy. May all the blessings you have received in your life multiply exponentially. May you have many more years, lived in good health and prosperity. Thank you for being a wonderful big sister and friend. Thank you for all your support for Above Whispers. Enjoy your day!
