You may know about Jesus and not know the person of Jesus. You can’t know Jesus with the physical eyes, it takes revelation to know Jesus. The more revelation you touch, the more calm you become because genuine revelation makes you calm. The beginning of knowing Jesus is calmness. The first test of revelation is you. It has to reflect on you. You need to generate fire in the place of prayer if you are following, because following Jesus automatically makes you an enemy to the devil and it’s cohort. If you haven’t reflected fire, then stay put in the place of prayer till you start to exude fire. For you to survive the last days, you must know Jesus whether you are called or not called.
For those God has called to work for Him, He needs their heart and the called also needs to calm down. Don’t be in a haste, God always matures the called into His promises. To know Jesus entails., to totally surrender to His will. One thing about following Jesus is that you don’t know the way. He is the one that will take you through the path, and that path you don’t know. One of the most difficult part of knowing God is following God, because you will get alternative at intervals. When God gives you a promise, you are in trouble, in that it sets you up for attack.
To have genuine love for Jesus you need to first love Jesus before you love His things. Jesus does not commit Himself to you until you love Him. Only the sent one doesn’t give excuses because he does understands the mandate of God. In believing the person of Jesus, you must first believe in His finished works on the cross. When you believe in Jesus, you don’t add anything to Him. It should be “plus nothing minus nothing” equals Jesus.
In Knowing the person of Jesus, you must have a relationship/communion with him always. Communion with Jesus makes you know who He truly is, he draws you closer to the Father. Knowing Jesus should be every believer’s reality, because We receive answers to prayer in the name of Jesus.
