Welcome to the rant column
I know there are millions of hardworking people out there, strong, resilient and purposeful but at the same there are some ‘chicken-brain’ people out there that believe in being connected, building networks with nothing to put forth. I know you need people regardless but what I detest is the act of trying to ride on people’s back to get what you want.
That is pure nuisance on display. You run around chasing people but you have no table and future value! Before you chase know your ‘substance worth’ and if you are only chasing for photos, chasing for the ‘gram’ then, you are the biggest acquired fool because, I know no one is born a fool.
I am not saying you shouldn’t talk to your mentors when you see them, or get their contacts and take pictures with them, I am saying you should have value and know that, the long legs can be cut but the brains will remain and stand strong! There is a test of time for everything on earth!

It is the ‘I was there’ syndrome and it’s very common amongst our generation. God help us.
Seriously, I am tired of this whole networking gig sef. If I work on my lane, everyone will see my light. In fact, if you want to live for the ‘gram’ then, you are ready to get cut off before your time
This isn’t a matter of pride, but I hate networking events especially if one isn’t up there, It makes no sense.
Lool. For the gram o. Fake people everywhere especially on social media
It is always good to have value. One may have the connection but without value, it’s a waste.
