Welcome to the rant column.

I don’t know if I should call this robbery or fraud. There is something I have noticed among some telecommunication companies and sincerely, it’s annoying! You will recharge a good amount of money on your phone, and your network provider will send you a bonus that you didn’t request for and after making just about two calls that didn’t last up to 45 minutes all the credit is gone! Your original credit and the fake bonus, all disappeared and you start wondering what you said or who you called that could  cause such an inhumane treatment of stealing off your credit.

annoying

That’s not all, they also subscribe to what you didn’t consent to and then you start receiving messages that  some amount of money have been taken off your credit because of what you didn’t subscribe to. Imagine how annoying that is.

They want to make money at every opportunity they have and that’s fraud, robbery. They don’t even provide a good service anyway but they are after your money. I think they should be dealt with because calling the customer care line is a waste of time. You lodge the same complaint every time and nothing will be done to sort out their craziness.

Like someone will say, If God wants to judge the world today, most of these service providers will end up in a deep place where Satan will not even be the host! But seriously, Isn’t true? They are totally annoying. They steal!

  1. I believe Mtn is chief in this fraud and blatant robbery. The just must always find a way to consuming your airtime for no particular reasons. Let’s petition them to NCC jor

  2. Wahalai. It’s Hem-ty-Hen! They are thieves! That’s how I subscribed for 500mb data for 500naira and in two days it finished. I only did wtsapp and facebook o. I didn’t watch youtube at all. Shey you see?

    Na hellfire them go last

  3. You know what a particular network does? Immediately after you end a call or check your balance, a message will pop-up on your screen asking you to subscribe to one thing or the other. You know their trick? They put “yes” on the right, and “no” on the left, so that you will unconsciously select yes, and they start to billl you. Please, my people, beware!

  4. Yeye people. Na so dem take my credit the other day na. I call customer care, dem tell me sey I call person. I ask dem for number. Dem come dey call number wey I no dial. Bunkum people.
