Ladies and gentlemen, you know I cannot hear a gist, or see a gist without sharing it with you all.  Things are happening in this world and very strange and mad things are happening on the streets of social media. You are wondering what the gist is about yeah? Okay, let me download it as usual. So there is this video of a woman who went to a skincare house to go bleach her body.

In that video, after the so-called ‘skin doctor’ had mixed all the necessary chemicals needed, she put the woman’s hand in the mixed water and started scrapping out her flesh. She scraped out her epidermis. A black woman turned white immediately. See, she was scraping the woman the way we scrape ‘ponmo’ (cowskin) and mehnnnn… it was such a horrible sight. I don’t know why women keep doing this to themselves, be comfortable in your own skin, but mba, they want to look Asian in Nigeria, and look Jamaican in Ondo state. Like seriously? who sent you? That is not all o…People started to comment that in some parts of Lekki, there is a place where they go to have Jamaican baths, Asian Baths and all of that and depending on the skin type, you could have the bath twice or thrice but when you are done, you will be white and look like a foreigner. My God!  Issoke ooo. On top this glow that people want to glow, it is well oooo

There were lots of comments online, people were saying all sorts but majority were condemning the act.  The woman in charge of the skincare outlet now fired back ooo. She started raining curses on people. She started saying they were envious. They don’t know how she got her treatment and people are just jealously running their mouth. Anyway, I wasn’t expecting anything less.  My own is that skin cancer is real. So, you better know what is doing you or what you are doing.
