Ladies and gentlemen of this gist nation, I would like to welcome you to our corner once again. I am sure you are wondering what the gist is about, not to worry, I will break it down as usual. Two West African countries had their election last weekend and the gist was all over social media.

One of the countries happened to be the most populous in Africa and it’s really a big deal. When the election was happening, we saw different stories, people posting and all of that but after the election, the winner was declared and the main opposition said he would contend the results in court. What is my own? lawyers go chop na {Lawyers will eat now} So, to our uncle who wants to go and contend, happy contending. Though, on  a second thought I see no need for it. Why contend if you don’t want it by force? If you really wanted to serve the people, you don’t need to be president to serve the people. Whether you think it’s rigged or not, let it slide. It is difficult yeah, but maturity and love for humanity is the ability to accept defeat and move forward.
