The Gospel

By Princess Arira

The gospel of Christ needs no human wisdom or strategy in its presentation. It is the POWER of God unto salvation.
Apostle Paul said in Roman 1:16
’16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth., to the Jews first and also to the Greek.
praying hands
I am not ashamed implies Paul’s identification with the message. This message is foolishness to those who are perishing. It has pleased God to save men through the foolishness of preaching. 1cor 1:21.
The very details of the gospel is offence to the wisdom of this world, you therefore do not need strategies of this world to preach lest you make the cross of none effect Gal 5:11. The gospel of Christ needs no additives, add not to the message., seek NOT to make the message presentable or attractive.
The gospel must be preached just the way it is. Explain to men what God did in Christ: The death, burial and most importantly, the resurrection of Christ. 1cor 15:3-4. This explanation bring to nothing the understanding of the devices of the crafty (Job 5:12-13, 1cor 1:18-20)
There is nothing like 21st century approach to preaching the gospel. 1cor 3:18-20, the gospel of Christ needs no vain thought of creativity., the preaching of Christ ALONE is the demonstration / exhibition of the Spirit which is power (The Greek word is DUNAMIS). Just preach clearly the details and facts of the gospel of Christ.
No creativity!
No human strategy!
No drama!
No gimmicks!
For I have determined not to know anything amongst you save Christ and Him crucified. 1cor 2:2. Worldly strategy CANNOT accomplish the work of the Spirit, that is the flesh doeth not the work of the Spirit (1cor 1:29-31, Jer 9:23-24).
The gospel does not create the power of God, the gospel does not attract the power of God. The gospel itself is the POWER of God unto salvation ROM 1:16!!!
