Faith is coined from the Greek word PISTIS which means persuasion, belief, assurance, fidelity, them that believe. Faith is not a condition but a means, and this means is by God. We were freely justified by grace through faith in Christ Jesus (Romans 3:21-25, 5:1-2, Ephesians 2:8). It is the gospel that gives faith. For us to understand justification we need to know that God is righteous (Psalms 51:3-4, 2Timothy 4:8, ).

The word justification is derived from the Greek work DIKAIOSIS and the Hebrew word SADAQ. Dikaiosis means to be pronounced as righteous, the basis of justification is the substitunary sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Roman 1:16). Justification is the gospel of Christ and it was succinctly described in Ephesians 2:8 that the just shall come into existence through faith.

From faith to faith simply means two different kinds of faith. There is a faith which men of old lived by and hoped for but never had, which is the person of Jesus Christ. All they had was types and shadows because the gospel was presented to them in types and shadows. And also the one we live by after Jesus Christ was glorified. When you believed the gospel of Jesus Christ, you have actually obeyed Him in Faith because it is by faith that the man who believed the gospel is made alive. And the way to interpret the bible is to understand the context ( That simply means reading the things said before (pretext) and what is said afterwards (post text) and that is the true meaning of context).
There can be no different interpretation for a word in the bible., the word of God itself interpret itself not by people’s experience. Some very good examples of faith were elucidated in Hebrews 11:4-40.

The spirit of faith speaks (Hebrews 11:3). Faith always act fast, your faith is seen in your words and actions. We became identified in Christ by faith., faith is birthed as instructions, leading of the spirit that when you give corresponding actions to will bring out manifestations of the spirit.

As believers we should be conscious of what God has done in Christ and act upon it in faith so that we can reconcile the world to God (2cor 5:20).
