The AMVCA is no doubt one of the most anticipated award shows every year. It is also arguable one of the most glamourous nights in the Nigerian Entertainment scene. This year, glam did not come to play, it totally slayed and knocked us off our seats. Celebrities brought their A-game with their outfits and set the red carpet ablaze.
We see a lot of high slit, ball gowns and out of this world creations. In no particular order, here are some of our favourite looks this year;
- GBEMI OLATERU-OLAGBEGI
Gbemi’s needle fringe dress by Tubo is simple and absolutely gorgeous. The defined waist and high slit are to die for.
2. CEE-C
Ceecee has always been great with outfits. From the BBnaija house we could see that Ceec was on her way to becoming a major style icon. She served it smoking hot and beautiful in this custom Lanre DaSilva Ajayi red dress. Her experienced pose sealed the whole look. Way to go Ceec.
3. Rita Dominic
Rita Dominic brings it hot every year, consistently being on every best dressed list. This year, styled by The Style Infidel, she dazzles in a cobalt blue dress by Tubo.
- INI DIMA OKOJIE
Ini’s golden dress with the hot high slit serving us legs for days, takes our breathe away. The dress was made by designer, Fablane by Derin.
- ANTO LECKY
Anto is an embodiment of the word “Class”. She did not disappoint. She wore a pastel colour Bibi Lawrence dress with embellishments and a side cape. We see you queen.
- NINA
Nina was almost everyone’s favourite girl in the BBNaija house. Her sweet easy going personality stole the hearts of many in the house. She brought that sweetness with alot of fierce hot to the AMVCA this year with this custom convertible dress from Toyin Lawani of TiannahStyling. The dress can go from AMVCA night to wedding guest, to club ready. We love it.

Is it a dress or a pant suit? It is creativity on the body of a queen. The confidence, the pose, the unapologetic uniqueness. Dare to be Stephanie. We love it.
- MUNACHI ABII
Yes, angels graced the AMVCA 2018 red carpet too. Muna had us feeling like we were in heaven with this super gorgeous ball gown.
