Nigeria legend Nwankwo Kanu, Confederation of African Football (CAF) and former Ghanaian international, Anthony Baffoe have joined the football loving fans in paying tribute to former Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi, who passed away two years ago, Keshi, who guided Nigeria to 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title in South Africa, also led the Super Eagles to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He also enjoyed an illustrious playing career, captaining the Super Eagles to the AFCON title in 1994 and to their first ever World Cup appearance the same year. The Big Boss as he is fondly known, represented Nigeria at four AFCON competitions (1984, 1988, 1992 and 1994). Keshi also led unfancied Togo to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, the first in the history of the West African nation. “Today we remember Nigeria and Africa football legend, Late Coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi who passed on, on this day in 2016. Thank you for the memories ‘The Big Boss.’ We can never forget you.
