Today, we are sharing the story of ‘Motola, the great cook, wife, mother and friend. Motola’s marriage is about to hit the rock and as usual she has come to the kiosk to share her issues with us. According to Motola, her husband the crown of her head, is cheating on her and he has even admitted to doing it openly, he told her to receive the news with joy because there’s nothing they can do about it. She must be receptive and accommodating because he’s a man. When Motola told the kiosk people this, there were different reactions at the same, women cursing and giving her different solutions to the problem.

I cautioned all of them and asked Motola one question. I said, Motola, have you spoken with your spouse? Have you had a heart to heart discussion about this? Have you sat down, lock up your emotions and then put up a fruitful and logical discussion up? She was shocked at the question and gave me a sincere reply, I haven’t Madame K, I just haven’t gathered enough momentum concerning this and it’s just unexpected, he has forgotten our vows and he’s not even sorry about it. I can’t bear a second wife,we didn’t talk about this at all when we were dating, and even before marriage.

Motola! I called her, speak with your man and carry off those emotions, stop being dejected ask him some sensible questions, get his answers and from there we can know what to do concerning him. One more thing, find out if that woman is pregnant for him, it will help our process and moreover, how often do you guys discuss? Motola held back a little before uttering her words, We talk, you know just like married couples, we talk. I smiled and other women who have been coming to the kiosk laughed also… I told her, it’s certain that you only talk about diapers, school fees, foodstuff, and maybe sometimes new things for you and for him.

What else are we supposed to talk about madame K? Those are the most essential things for us in marriage, we aren’t dating, are we? Hmmm…Really? You need a timeout with us right here, relax and be ready to learn I told her. If your life is balled around your home and nothing for you and your husband in it… My dearest Motola, There is loneliness right there in that home.

We couldn’t discuss beyond that so we scheduled a time for next wednesday to continue our discussion. So, see you next wednesday. Don’t get lost, we will be back and Motola will be helped. That’s our Job here.

  1. Really!!! There are still a lot of things to talk about asides the things Motola mentioned? Can’t wait to get full gist next week wednesday.

  2. Ghen ghen! The rant writer is here to give us something juicy. Men cheat everytime, it’s something women should have to put up with

  3. @Bisi Alawode, this attitude is wrong. why would you say, women should put up with men and their frivolities? Can they put up with a woman’s own? Abegi.

I just hope his concubine isn’t pregnant

  4. Hmmm…can’t wait to hear from Motola next week. Couples should learn to maintain communication in their marriages. Personal dreams, goals, desires and emotions should not be locked up with the onset of marriage. If couples could be concerned about these things of each other during courtship, it doesn’t have to end with marriage or children. Your spouse should be your best friend not your competition. Some wives and husbands just lock up once they’re married. That’s wrong. Can’t wait to hear Madam K’s words of wisdom to Motola next week.

  5. Waawu….. Am loving this… Can’t wait to learn more from madam K.
@Bisi, I totally disagree with your point about all men cheating and something we ladies have to put up with. So you are saying you are comfortable with your husband cheating in you. That’s won’t happen ijn. Don’t give your husband room to ever cheat on you.
There is more to marriage than just having sex and producing family oo.

  6. I’m falling in love with this, let’s see what Motola will discover next wednesay. Madame K, the kiosk people are plenty o. I hope you have enough space for us all
