The moment you discover what you live to die for, then life is worth living. Quite a number of times, our problems can be solved out of the government, our community can grow without the attention of the local government chairman if we decide to use what we have effectively. Most times, the greenlight the government needs is the work in progress.

Taking a good look at children in this part of the world, that are being stratified daily, in fact, the onus on the parents I will say have been narrowed down to making them and bringing them to hustle for life.

Life isn’t supposed to be hard for children.,this is the time for them to be catered for and well groomed to be future leaders but as it were, that’s a story that will be addressed sooner or later. When life hasn’t brought a glimpse of light, we all wait and hope that the light comes. But what if the step to be taken is in your hands? Waiting without searching and taking a step is like waiting for godo!

When we take a step to securing the lives of others, then the light shines brighter and connects with the future we hope for. That’s the case with CAVSI – Children Academic Vocational Support Initiatives

CAVSI is an initiative which has been in existence for 10years, equipping children for a great future. This initiative is set to make less privileged children, in the sango community of ogun state, stand above all odds.

The initiative gathers children in April and December 25th, for the children’s party aimed at giving them school essentials and grooming them with positive vibes for life.

The pioneer of the initiative, Mr Hakeem Ariori said, this action is more than giving, it’s about mentorship. The children are being mentored in different career fields and every sporting activity they undergo, is a life lesson for them to know how to plan, work as a team and make use of whatever they have.

CAVSI is building a generation which will not just be dependent on what they need but a generation that is willing to give what they have. Children are effective instruments in nation building, and CAVSI is protecting, training, mentoring them for a better society, a better Nigeria.
