Happy New Week Folks.

I am here to rant again right? I know you enjoy it though.

So, straight up to today’s rant.

First scenario

Customer: I want to buy some biscuits

Trader: Which one? and wait, I hope you have change o? Biscuits is 30naira

Street Trading

Customer : I have 100naira.

Trader: Maybe, you should go and look for change and then come and buy. I can’t be looking for change.

Second Scenario

Transporter : Make sure you enter this bus with your change o

Commuter: How much is it?

Transporter: 300naira o. I don’t have change

Commuter: So, if I give you 500, no change?

Transporter: Go and look for it and then bring it.

When has it become the responsibility of the one who is paying for your service, to get your service completely sorted out for you? This happens a lot in a typical Nigerian society. You want to buy something, they tell you to first look for change! Really? Later on, these people start lammenting that they are not making sales, Life is hard, someone in the village is tormenting them.

It’s unfortunate that lots of people don’t understand the meaning of rendering services. All they want is the money involved. Anyway,  by the time they lose almost 10 customers in a day, perhaps they will discover that is not the witch that is functioning, it is Laziness.

Because, it is laziness to tell your client to get what you should do for you.

Pure laziness!

  1. Lol… What about ọkada in Lagos, they’ll rather stay at the junction of your street and be gisting than carry people at less exorbitant prices. Some people are just shitty in this our country

  2. Lmao. Oh My God. I thought I was the one that usually see this as awkward o. Really, instead of rendering your services well, they would want you to be looking for change.

These are the same people that will always complain of not having enough, how will they have when they have chosen to be lazy.

  3. The witch is always at fault in this socitey when it’s clear that, even the witch doesn’t have their time because even the witch needs to be on social media, so there is no time for that. Lool

  4. This is so so true, and could be really annoying. Like that is the only store or only vehicle. Really pure laziness.

  5. LOL…. @Tina yes ooo you are very right, the witches are the ones that always get the blame for their laziness and ignorance. It’s so annoying when I hear no change every time I go and buy something, or even the bike men and taxi driver will be shouting no change like say it’s not their right to get me the change. I shake my head for Nigerians ooo.
