Understand that when you are on a bus, you should be discreet with your discussion on the phone. You don’t need to disclose your life history to over 15persons. That is totally unethical.

Let me share a brief story with you, a particular lady was on a bus from Ojodu berger to Ikeja,and immediately after she got on the bus, her phone rang. Obviously, she was speaking to a very close friend about what happened between herself and her mother, and she started narrating everything that happened in their family.

I mean, she narrated how her mother thinks she talks too much and it’s affecting her well being, she also narrated how her mother called her privately and told her not to tell anybody about a long time family secret which she exposed on the bus.

So, till we got to Ikeja, all of us knew something about her family. She just kept on speaking about everything and the funniest part, she said, her mother told her not to tell anyone. Now, over 15persons know about the ‘secret’ story. Seriously speaking, somepeople need to learn how to be discreet on phones especially in public. You don’t need to push out too much information when it’s not needed, just tell whoever,that you can’t speak right now till later, that is ethical and that will save strangers from knowing too much.
