The South African Police Service (SAPS) will continue with their programme of action for the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children on Friday, 9 December 2016 in the Klipgat area in the North-West Province.

The aim of the day is to advocate and raise awareness against the negative impact of violence against women and children on members of the community and to educate the community at large.

The activities will be wrapped-up by the official handing over of a house built by the SAPS’s Women’s Network and Men for Change to an elderly woman and her orphaned eight grandchildren.
